More conversations with Breckin

#1
The situation – Breckin and I were brushing Bosley’s hair today. While I was doing this, Breckin was examining Boz’s feet.
Breckin: (with a concerned look and tone of voice) Ummmm….Mommy. Bosley only has feet. He doesn’t have any hands! I have 2 hands and 2 feet. But Bosley has 4 feet!
Me: Yep, he only has feet.
Breckin: Bosley needs shoes.
#2
The situation – Breckin has just realized that Bosley has chewed up one of his flip-flops and is a little upset. Bosley had a bit of an “evil puppy” day yesterday and I was really annoyed with him by the end of the day.
Breckin: Mommy! Bosley broke my shoe!
Me: Well, I guess he did. It’s okay. You have more shoes to wear.
Breckin: (choking back tears) Oh honey, I am sorry Mommy. I guess I need new shoes.
Me: We will definitely get you a new pair of flip-flops. (insert heart melting here!)
