Power-Booms, cupcakes, and craziness

Date July 5, 2008

Since Jeremiah’s parents and my mom watched Breckin last week, we went down on Thursday to pick him up. Eldon Missouri was doing their fireworks on Thursday night so we went over with my Dad to watch. Breckin LOVED the fireworks, but he doesn’t actually know them as fireworks. I am not sure why, but he calls them power-booms. Came up with that all on his own. Very cute to watch him get excited about the fireworks and for a small town, Eldon does a really great job with their fireworks.

I also had 45 cupcakes to do for a birthday party this morning. So, I did the fondant decorations last Wednesday, baked and iced the cupcakes while in Versailles yesterday, and delivered them at 9:30am. Which leads to the craziness. We decided to leave late last night instead of getting up really early this morning. So, we got home at midnight only to be woken up at 6:30 by Bosley. It really was a busy, fun weekend.
