Conversations with Breckin

Conv #1
Breckin and Arwyn are standing in the kitchen waiting for me to dry them off. They are in their swimsuits because we were just outside playing in the water.

Breckin: Hey Arwyn, when I get big like Daddy, I am going to have hair on my boobies (middle of chest) too! Just like Daddy! See Arwyn, right here, I will have hair here too!

Arwyn is just standing there listening like they are having a very serious and interesting conversation. They crack me up.

Conv #2

Breckin: (pointing up nose, talking to Jer) Hey Daddy, I have hair in there.
Jer: You have hair in your nose?
Breckin: No, but it’s starting to grow.

Conv #3

Breckin is pretending to be stuck on the slide and in need of rescuing.

Breckin: Mommy, help me. Help me! Help me!
Me: Do you need rescued?
Breckin: Mommy, ayudeme! (Help me, in Spanish)

Who would have thought that Go Diego Go would have actually taught my child a little Spanish. See, TV can be somewhat useful.
