Stupid things I say to my kids…

and the responses I imagine I would get if they were old enough to be smart alecs. I threw in some real responses too.

Do you want to go in time-out!?
response: NO you crazy old woman, I just want to keep hitting my sister/brother!

What is wrong with you today?
response: What is wrong with YOU today?

Arwyn, please stop doing that?…….1…..2…….3…..
her actual response: GO! (then she starts running as if my counting was actually the beginning of a race)

Breckin, can you go faster please? (that boy really does just go at his own VERY SLOW pace)
his actual response: No mommy, I go slower. (then he will actually start walking in slow motion)
This is really funny until you are truly in a hurry to go somewhere and happen to be carrying a child, and three grocery bags full of stuff.
