Mommy, potty!

Date August 6, 2008

Last post today, I promise. Wouldn’t want to give the impression this is all I do all day. Definitely not true. Anyway, I started potty training Arwyn about a week ago. She is almost completely potty trained now and doing so well. It all started last week when she told me she needed to potty. I put her on the potty, she went and promptly told me she wanted panties. Today, I looked over at her to see her running to the bathroom with her pants around her ankles saying , “Potty, potty, potty, potty….” under her breath. If you have never seen a 22 month old do this, you are truly missing out on something hilarious and sweet. The only thing Arwyn has yet to tackle on the potty is the dreaded #2. She always waits until I put her diaper on her right before bed or in the morning before I have changed her. Breckin did the same thing and eventually got over it with the promise of candy. I assume Arwyn will do the same once she really has the #1 thing 100% figured out. Congrats Arwyn on saving Mommy and Daddy money on diapers! (I hate buying diapers!)
