Conversations with Breckin

Date February 27, 2009

Today Breckin and I went shoe shopping. Not shoe shopping for me unfortunately, but for him. He was in dire need of a new pair of sneakers and we were on a mission. Off to the mall we went. I love the kids shoe section at Dillard’s so we headed there first. Upon walking into Dillard’s we had to pass by the lingerie section. There were bras, bras and more bras. Everywhere you looked, BRAS! So, of course my son would have to yell the following question in a relatively quiet department store full of old women. Of course he would.

Breckin: (looking at the bras and pointing) “Mom! Don’t you need some new boobs?”
I smiled, but ignored him the first time. He repeated.
Breckin: “Mom! Don’t you need some new boobs?”
Me: “Not today, buddy. Not today.”
(What I was thinking: “Not today buddy. But after I nurse this third baby for a full dang year, they might be in such bad shape that I will consider getting new ones.”)

Funny, funny. Not, of course that I could relate or anything. Ahem.
