Making Up

Yesterday was bad. I was so relieved when I woke this morning and did not feel like someone had smashed my head in a trash compactor. So, my outlook was good from the start. Then, I took the kids to the store. While at the store, they sat in the cart singing the chorus of the following song loud and proud. Really loud and really proud. I think that trip to the store erased yesterday’s mayhem. I loved it so much that I joined in. I am sure we were quite a spectacle.

Now when a 2 year old is singing this song, it sounds a little more like this…
“I wike to moob it moob it. I wike to moob it, moob it. MOOB IT! I wike to sake it sake it. I wike to sake it sake it.” Now imagine both children dancing and “shaking it” as they sang. Even better. That is what I (and everyone else at the store) got to experience today. Awesome!
