Remember a while back, I mentioned Breckin’s ridiculously large tonsils. Well, once I had the appointment with the specialist and scheduled the surgery to have them removed, I was informed that our insurance wouldn’t cover it until we had their plan for a year. So we had to wait 6 months. The time has finally come and Breckin will be getting his tonsils and adenoids removed on August 8. I took him to a different specialist this time because I didn’t really care for the personality of the first guy anyway. Upon looking in Breckin’s throat, he exclaimed, “Now those are big tonsils. The biggest I have seen all day!” I immediately asked him if that means we get some sort of prize or discount. I feel really great about Breckin having the surgery, the doctor and the hospital he is going to. I look forward to walking in his room at night and not hearing the loud sound of him snoring. I know he will eat better, sleep better and feel better once this is all over. I am sure the only thing Breckin will enjoy is the endless stream of 7-up, popsicles and ice cream.
